The Integrated Transport Strategy looks at pedestrian and bike planning, public transport and plans for roads more generally. These are all open for community comment until Monday 22 January. They can all be viewed at yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au.

If you are looking for more things to do with the kids these holidays, the Braidwood Library will be having fun with Lego every Wednesday afternoon from 1.30-4pm during the January school holidays.

The Q-One Aquatics and Indoor Sports team are looking forward to the Summer Activation Week which starts this week. Entry to the events is free, but we will making a collection for three local charities via a gold coin donation. The activities include novelty races, Ultimate Frisbee, Tarzan swing, Safe Archery, race the lifeguards and a jumping castle. There will also be a free barbecue and a movie on the outdoor screen.

First up is the Braidwood Pool on Friday 12 January, from 4pm-10pm. Bungendore Pool will then host the event on Saturday 13 January from 4pm-10pm.

We will be at Captains Flat Pool on Sunday 14 January, 4pm-10pm. At Queanbeyan Pool, the event is from 12pm-10pm on Saturday 10 January and finally, Sunday 21 January will be at Rockley Oval in Googong from 4pm-10pm.

School holiday programs are available at Axis Youth Centre and Q-One Indoor Sports. The Axis Youth Centre’s program begins on Tuesday 16 January. Activities include Zone3 laser games, time at the Queanbeyan Pool, a movie at Hoyts, a Koori Boys Group outing and more. Contact the centre on 6285 6341 or see them on Facebook for more information.
