All teams finished first in their pool which put them through to the finals; playing off for first or second.
Both our boys’ team came up against Trinity High School. Despite our best efforts, the boys were unfortunate in their attempts to come out on top. Second place though is a highly commendable effort and the best we’ve seen from the Braidwood boys in years.
Our girls on the other hand proceeded to win the competition. They played a very competitive Picton High School in the final and came out with a 3-0 win. This team is made up of a number of Spiderlings players, which are an extension of the Braidwood Redbacks team.
Big shout outs to Louise Story who captained the team on the day and Maddi Nelson who dislocated her shoulder in the grand final match. We hope you have a speedy recovery.
