A senior member of the gang was charged overnight with drug and firearms offences.
Strike Force Creswell officers executed a search warrant at a storage cage in residential carpark at Kellyville Ridge in north west Sydney on Tuesday, March 13, and seized illicit drugs, firearms, and ammunition.
Following further inquiries, investigators executed two further search warrants at a business at Drummoyne, where they seized precursors, and a property near Oallen, near Goulburn, where they located a clandestine laboratory, which is currently being dismantled.
A spokesperson for the State and Crime Command told the Goulburn Post the Drugs and Firearms Squad believe the lab had been used but did not know how long it had been on the site for.
As part of ongoing inquiries into violent conflicts between OMCGs across NSW, police from the Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor and the Drug and Firearms Squad’s Chemical Operations Unit commenced an investigation into the importation, manufacture, and supply of prohibited drugs under Strike Force Creswell.
Just before 6pm on March 14, a 35-year-old man was arrested by Strike Force Creswell officers and charged with large commercial drug supply and 15 firearms offences.
He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on March 15.
More to come.
