The 60th year of the Landmark annual Blue Ribbon Sale saw a very good quality yarding at Braidwood on Friday, May 18. The stock were a credit to the vendors considering the conditions.

Kay and Bob Daniel brought the top price yarding for their Angus heifers at $990.
The top pens of Angus steers made $985 Venturia and J & J Croker.
Black Baldy steers from T & D Laurie sold to $780, and Krawarree Pastoral $780. Hereford Steers from JV & N Sturgiss went to $740, and from D Griggs to $790.
B & S Callan made $770 for their Angus heifers, and Black Baldy heifers from CM Tetley made $705.
Landmark Braidwood Livestock agent Charlie Croker said prices were a bit back on last year due to dry conditions across the country prices, but remained firm on previous store sales.
Buyers came to Braidwood from Wagga, Yea, Cootamundra, Wangaratta, as well as limited local buyers. The next monthly sale in Braidwood will be conducted on Friday, June 1.
