The weather was perfect for round four of the local soccer this week, which saw a few more players and parents out enjoying the sunshine.

The sub juniors impressed again with their ball skills - each and every week their improvement is evident and they always manage to have a lot of fun.
In the Under 7’s Kookbarrus had a win over the Cockatoos, winning 3-1.
A great game by all with both teams focusing. On their defence and learning about his keeping.
A special mention to Oscar, Jolyon and Ash, who all played fantastically for the Cockatoos.
There was also a particularly great effort also from Josh C, Charlie M, and Dean.
The Magpies were defeated by Galahs, 4-0! Team work was really evident in this game and there was great defence all round from everyone involved.
An amazing goal kick by Edie W. was saved by Keiren, and there was great goal defence as well from River P.
Elsa and Aidan showed fantastic footwork and both coaches were impressed by the level of play shown by everyone.
The Under 10’s saw a hard fought match between the Comets and the Jets, which resulted in a 0-0 draw.
Audrey and James showed fantastic goal defence skills - and a particularly great game was had by Chase, Jimmy and Maddie.
Since both teams were hungry to score, it led to some entertaining play, well done all!
The Rockets faced the Stars, with Stars taking out a narrow win of 2-1.
Teams played really well today, and have really started to utilise the whole field.
Taylor D., Logan and Amelia all had a stellar game, as did Patrick, Marcus and Skelton.
A great team attitude was on display between these two teams. In the Over 11’s, the Rebels beat the Young Guns 4-1. It was, as always, a fantastic game and it was great to see a lot of improvement and enthusiasm on the field, in particular from Imogen D, Romany, Tamara and Cooper.
The goals scored by Laynee, Tara, Brodie and Leroy for the Rebels, and Logan found the back of the net for the Young Guns.
