  • Braidwood View Club, 6.30pm, Braidwood Servicemen's Club. Guest Speaker will be Aaron McGrath who will talk about his work in the Antarctic and share his stunning photos. All welcome for a Chinese banquet and a friendly get-together. Cost is $25, enquiries to Ros Bulloch on 4842 2182.

Saturday, June 30

  • Braidwood & District Historical Society Annual Dinner, 6.30pm, National Theatre, Braidwood. In this centenary year of the Great War commemoration Dr William Westerman from the Australian War memorial will be our dinner speaker. His talk is entitled, "A Century Apart: Australian Soldiers on the Western Front and Uruzgan Province'. Dinner cost is $54 for members of BDHS and $59 for non members.To secure your place payments can be made by direct deposit to BDHS Dinner Account BSB:633-000 A/C No. 127417822 or by cheque to Braidwood & District Historical Society, PO Box 145 BRAIDWOOD NSW 2622.
