Last year Braidwood Youth Performing Arts Association put on their first talent show for the youth of Braidwood, to give them an opportunity to perform and have fun, while raising money for the much loved Braidwood dance studios end of year extravaganza.
The line-up included a variety of dance pieces, some awesome singing, live balloon-animal making and a live science experiment. Add to that a little magic conjuring and some speed skipping and you get a sense of what a talented bunch of kids the Braidwood District can proudly boast.
This year the Talent Show will be held on Friday 17th August 5.30pm at The Servicemen’s Club. It is open to the youth of Braidwood and surrounding districts from 4 to 18 year olds. There will be prizes to be won, raffle and cake stands and most importantly lots of fun to be had. All acts who enter May also be in with a chance to perform at the Majors Creek Festival in November.
It is a great evening out for all the family, and even if you don't want to perform, please go along to support the young talent on stage.
Do a little dance, sing a little song, perform a silly act, no talent will be out of whack.
