For National Science Week, the Recycling Centre in Hume will be open to the public. Visitors can see the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) machinery in action, investigate the science of sorting materials and explore what recovered and recycled materials can become.

There is also information on how to avoid waste and optimise recycling.
