The Braidwood Rodeo will be on Saturday, April 6 at the Braidwood Showground from 8am, with the main events beginning from midday.
Secretary of the Braidwood Rodeo Club, Louise Halligan, said while competitors don't enter until the week before, there was expected to be a star-studded lineup.
"It is the Southern Zone final, so there will be quite a few major competitors involved," Halligan said.
There will be plenty of events on the day including bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback.
"We also hold a local steer ride, a local poddy ride and the ladies heifer ride," she said.
The prize money for the events ranges from to $50 to $2000.
Halligan encouraged people to go and said crowd numbers have been really healthy in the past.
It depends on the weather mainly, but we tend to get over 2000 spectators.
