The President and members of the Braidwood RSL Sub-Branch have invited the Braidwood community to join them in commemoration of ANZAC Day on Thursday April 25.

Commemorations include a dawn service and later a march followed by a service at the War Memorial in Ryrie Park.
This year nursing in the military will be the focus of the day.
Timeline
6am - Dawn Service at the memorial flag pole in Ryrie Park.
6:45am - Gunfire Breakfast at the Services Club. A gold coin donation to Legacy is required.
8am - Majors Creek service.
9am - Araluen Service.
10:15am - Roads will be closed by Braidwood SES.
10:30am - Parade will assemble at lower Wallace street outside D and S Motors.
10:45am - March commences.
11am - Commemoration at Soldier memorial.
11:15am - Ceremony at rotunda in Ryrie Park. This year's ANZAC Day address will be given by LTCOL Christine Saunders, about nursing in the military.
12:30pm - Drinks and lunch at the Services club. All RSL sub-branch members, their partners, ex-service and serving personnel in the Braidwood area are welcome to attend the lunch. Additional family members wishing to attend the lunch are welcome, on payment of $18.
1:45pm - Two up at the Services club. All proceeds will go to Legacy.
4pm - Fred Smith will perform songs written while working as a tribal and political advisor alongside Australian Forces in Uruzgan Province. Visit iwannaticket.com.au for tickets.
