Owner of Braidwood Outdoors, Donna Robertson opened her store on July 4 2008, starting off mainly with firearms, hunting and camping gear.
Over the years the range has grown to include what Donna herself describes as an eclectic mix of things country people like, either to use, to wear, decorate their home or to buy as gifts.
They have country clothing, workwear, a wide range of men's and women's fashion and work boots, cushions and poufs, giftware, and a range of hides from cow and reindeer. There are all sorts of belts, hats, accessories and plenty more to discover.
The range in the store is packed with superior brand names you will recognise and perhaps have been coveting for a while. From genuine Ugg boots, to Akubra and Sunbody hats, Wrangler, Ariat, Mongrel, FXD, Emu and much more, you will be amazed at the top quality names available right here in Braidwood.
There's a real family feel to the shop too, not just because her mum and best mate Sam work there, but because "I consider everyone who works here as family," Donna said.

Sam has been busy setting up the online store and writes a lot of the social media posts for the shop while the everyone is hands-on keeping customers satisfied as well as running the popular firearms safety course.
Customers come from not just the Braidwood surrounds, but also Canberra, the South Coast and even from as far as Sydney, whether they have a weekend property in the region or not. You can expect country-style service too.
Recently married, Donna knows her store has everything a groom or the groomsmen will need.
From hats to boots, shirts, belts and vests to go with them and you can also choose how formal you want everyone in the group to look.
Akubra's iconic hats are almost compulsory, and for pants "a lot of people are going for denim which has been popular."
Thomas Cook do a tailored stockman jean, which Donna says is not made of denim. It suits people wanting something a bit more like a country version of semi-formal trouser. You may also find something you like from Wrangler's range, or even FXD. For colours people tend to choose browns or blues, "and navy is really big at the moment."
She also says brides will tend to go for accessories like hide and hair-on-hide clutch bags and wallets, which supports local industry if you choose an Australian hide
