It all began almost five years ago with the Canberra choir, Igitur Nos, kicking off the fund raising effort to refurbish St Andrew's rare historic organ.
Organs are like steam trains: they have a dedicated following. Increasingly over the years, through links to the South Coast Music Society, Canberra classical music scene and touring ensembles from Sydney, a greater range of ensembles and musicians have come to perform and, audiences both local and regional, have begun to grow.
Another wonderful venue is the charming Braidwood Uniting Church. Both churches have excellent acoustics and offer that rare and magical experience of intimacy. This works well for both performers and audience members and is further enhanced with the performers mingling and chatting after the concerts over afternoon tea
The 2019 Spring Concert Series is now confirmed, showcasing wonderful diverse musical offerings at very reasonable ticket prices.
