Kelly Allen of Luton Properties Braidwood has been servicing the Braidwood real estate market since 2013 and has sold over 150 properties in the area while setting a few record prices along the way.
She is also a licensed stock and station agent, enabling her to service the rural and residential community in Braidwood and surrounds.
Earlier this year, Kelly opened her new Luton office at 78 Wallace Street, which is the main street of Braidwood.
She carefully chose the old building for its period character and charm.
The makeover of the building was brief, but Kelly says that she was very impressed with the outcome, highlighting the period features with a modern provincial flare.
The Luton Braidwood office is not a traditional office, it's considered an advertising space for properties and a meeting place for clients.
"I am a hands-on, on-the-ground real estate agent so I am always on the move showing or listing properties. I start my day in the office preparing then I'm off on inspections," Kelly says.
The Luton office is open-by-appointment at a time to suit her clients, so to avoid missing Kelly, its best to call and make an appointment first.
"There is just too much to do out in the field with sellers and buyers to be sitting behind a desk," Kelly adds.

Kelly really enjoys what she does, and gets a kick out of seeing the area as well as the properties that you find around here.
"As much as I love the rural countryside of Braidwood, I equally love the period homes and buildings Braidwood has to offer. It is particularly special to inspect these pieces of history. To then have the pleasure to sell them is certainly a highlight of my job."
One of Kelly's most recent sales is the well-known property called Tidmarsh.
"I enjoy selling all property, but when I have an opportunity to sell a beauty like this, it's thrilling and certainly one of my all-time favourite homes in Braidwood."
The other aspect of real estate sales in Braidwood is rural property.
Kelly proudly told us about setting some strong grazing farm prices with a number of prime grazing blocks sales over the last year or so.
"The demand continues to be strong for large grazing blocks and its reflected in the prices they are achieving."
Kelly believes herself to be the mover and shaker of the local real estate market, and continues to have a proactive approach to selling property.
Over the last four months she has sold five properties over the one million dollar mark, with a few being sold directly to her buyer database.
"I make a point of trying to match my buyers with the perfect property and its extremely rewarding to help someone find the property that suits them," Kelly concludes.
