If you haven't, it is a form of martial arts.
The Braidwood Aikido Dojo held a training session to celebrate the 15 years of training in Braidwood.
Local students were joined by students from their "sister" dojo, AikiLife Dojo in Canberra.
The theme of the class was what makes the Braidwood Dojo, the Braidwood Dojo.
Braidwood Aikido Dojo teacher Matthew Hulse taught the sacred geometry of Aikido and demonstrated the techniques that he had personally applied in the last 30 years of martial arts training.
The Braidwood Dojo Instructor opened the dojo when he moved to town 15 years ago.
Hulse loves Ajkido because it can be applied in everyday life.
"Aikido is special because the principles are universal," Hulse said.
"This means that while they are applicable to self defence, they are also applicable to every relationship one will have.
"What you learn in the dojo can be applied to customer service, raising children, dealing with bullies and being in a relationship."
Anyone interested in training is invited to come to the dojo during the spring.
