The Ladies Golf Open consisted of 68 players on the day as two withdrew with injuries, but ladies captain Michelle Henry said the level of competition was still very high.
"The course was very tough on the day," Henry said.
"They played to 74 for the stroke players and 73 for the stableford.
"The normal is 71."
The event was played in good spirits people were happy with the way things panned out.
"Everyone was very patient and loved that they were treated while they waited," Henry said.
"Many were complimentary about our club, it's organisation and how well we manage with volunteer workers."
Braidwood Community Bank also donated $570 to the Braidwood Life Centre which the funds coming when a par and birdie was scored on the day.
The Open champion was Liz Smyth, while other winners on the day included Sandra Edlington in division one, Deb Ferguson in division two and Kellie Biggs in division three.
