She has received the Braidwood Young Citizen of the Year award as part of Australia Day honours on January 26.
This follows recent recognition as Capital Football's 2019 Women's U15 Player of the Year as well as representing the ACT in the National Youth Championships.
Isabella, who is only 14 years old, began playing soccer with the Braidwood Junior Soccer Club when she was four years old.
The dedicated athlete said she was very surprised to receive the award.
"I've put in a lot of hard work over the past few years and I'm happy to be recognised," she said.
Isabella said she had loved the game since she was very young. For the past decade, her dedication, love of teamwork and positive attitude have helped form her into the player she is today.
In Braidwood, she has received many accolades, including as the: 2014 u9 Age Champion Girl; 2015 u10 female player of the year in all grades; 2015 u10 Kanga Cup Most Valuable Player (male division); and 2017 Kevin Lang Award as Most Valuable Player.
From the juniors, isabella rose to the Palerang United Football Club, which competes throughout south-east New South Wales.
Then, in 2018, she went on to play for the Monaro Panthers Women's National Premier League, based in Queanbeyan. There, she was named the 2018 u13 Players' Player and then in 2019, the u15 Players' Player.
Young Citizen of the Year is only the start for Isabella. She has her 'eyes on the prize' and aims to play in Canberra and Coffs Harbour later in the year. The future looks bright for the soccer savvy athlete from Braidwood.
