As of noon today, all non-essential services closed across NSW, Victoria, and the ACT. Many Braidwood businesses had already decided to temporarily close shop in the interest of public health.

The state government ordered non-essential services - including clubs and pubs, entertainment venues, casinos and cinemas, places of worship, gyms, and indoor sporting venues - to shut. Restaurants and cafes can now only sell take-away food.
Businesses affected in Braidwood include:
- The Braidwood Servicemen's Club. They will advise if takeaway food will be available.
- Braidwood Antiques closed on the weekend. Owners Derek and Helen Duffy hope to reopen trading once the pandemic is over.
- The Creative Edge - Gifts and Crafts. Some items may be for sale through the shop's Facebook page, or via contact on Facebook.
- The Braidwood Smokehouse. Salami, jerky, biltong and almonds for sale online.
- Braidwood Dance Studio. They will work on online dance and fitness classes to do at home, Emma Gartside Campbell said. For more information, visit the Braidwood Dance Studio page.
- Braidwood Museum closed last week, complying with advice from Museums & Galleries NSW, Peter Smith, President of the Braidwood & District Historical Society, said.
- Braidwood Soul Therapy Physiotherapy
- The Braidwood and Villages Tourism Visitors Information Centre is closed until further notice, BAVT president Margaret Tuckwell advised.
St Bede's Catholic Parish has suspended all masses, Fr Peter Day announced. The archdiocese has suspended the Sunday obligation for the time being, and has also asked parishioners 75 or older not to attend Mass.

Queanbeyan-Palerang Libraries will be closed to the public until further notice. Their e-Library resources including e-Books, e-Audio and e-Magazines are available 24/7. They will look at other ways to deliver library materials to the community.
The bushfire recovery centre in the Old Braidwood Library is closed to face-to-face sessions but still available for advice on 6285 6789 or email: recovery@qprc.nsw.gov.au
Council will continue to conduct community bushfire recovery meetings, supplemented with video updates and online communications. Outreach services will also continue.
Supermarkets, petrol stations, pharmacies, convenience stores, freight and logistics, and home delivery services will remain open. So will schools (at this stage), and bottle shops and off-licence stores.
