Three new cases in Goulburn: One under investigation

There are three new COVID-19 cases in Goulburn, with two being linked to known cases.

One case is under investigation.

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) was notified of the three cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.


Meanwhle, NSW recorded 319 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Two new cases was acquired overseas in the same period, bringing the total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic to 70,910.

Sadly, NSW Health is reporting the deaths of two people.

A man in his 60s from Sydney's inner west died at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He had received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

A woman in her 90s from south-eastern Sydney died at St George Hospital. She was not vaccinated.

NSW Health extends its sincere condolences to their loved ones.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19:

  • If you are unwell, get tested and isolate right away - don't delay.
  • Wash your hands regularly and take hand sanitiser with you when you go out.
  • Keep your distance and leave 1.5 metres between yourself and others.
  • Wear a mask at all times when outside your home, except when exercising.
