People had come from far and wide to attend the launching. The book covers indigenous history and early settlement, cheese making and the cheese makers, education and schooling, churches and the cemetery, The Post Office, The Farmer’s Inn (pub), sporting events and entertainment, disasters, droughts, fires and floods, myths and legends, and of course the local families, with a section on each family.
Jill began researching on the area over 20 years ago and she thanked the many friends and family who had helped with her research and supported her in publishing the book.
The book is now available for $45 from the author on 4846 1115, Len Muttons, and the Braidwood Museum
