With a rain interrupted finals series the 2014 Spring Night tennis comp game to a close last Tuesday, with team Wilson, captained by Nick (Federer) Fry, reigning victorious over team Donnay, captained by president, Michael Toirkens.

Team Wilson had been undefeated all comp however, the Donnay's put up a massive fight in the GF that had captain Fry quite nervous during the evening. Fortunately for the Wilson's their B grade players of Sam Daniher, Scott and Allan Birkett, and Kelly Bauman carried the team to victory.
Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's tennis comps, both team players and our reliable reserve troops. It was great to see some new faces and to see everyone enjoy the new court surfaces.
Next year night tennis will be on Monday and Tuesday nights so please keep a look out for the start of the 2015 Autumn comp - new players most welcome and encouraged.
