This new proposal to process ore with cyanide is a major development change, with potentially lethal and widespread consequences. Why isn't the company submitting a proper DA, which independent experts can scrutinise, instead of of a Modification?
Please: to Councillors of Palerang, Eurobodalla; to Ministers John Barilaro, Pru Goward, and Premier Mike Baird: consider the company record, and the potential risks to the NSW economy not just of cyanide but lead, arsenic, zinc and cadmium. Give this proposal the scrutiny it deserves, with a full DA, and not 'backdoor approval' as a Modification.
If not, why not?
