Braidwood Cattle Sale

The Monthly cattle sale held by Braidwood Associated Agents on Friday 7th  August 2015.  Agents yarded 546 cattle which included 445 scale cattle and 101 store cattle.

Buyers travelled from Moruya, Canberra, Goulburn, Harden, Crookwell , Cooma,Wagga . Moss Vale, Bungendore and also a good following from the Braidwood area. The quality of the yarding was mixed in both the store and scale cattle with the store market. 

Prices have once again remained strong in most categories with steers 284kg selling for 350c/kg.

Steers sold to a top $735.00 to average $694.00.

Heifers sold to a top $600.00 to average $488.00.

Cows & Calves sold to top $1560 to average $ 1509.00.
