After six years at St Bede’s Primary School, Mr Gerard Galvin is resigning from his position from the end of 2015. Gerard will be commencing as a co-ordinator at Marist College Canberra from the start of the 2016 year.

Moira Najdecki, Director of the Catholic Education Office for the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn said "Gerard has shown great leadership and dedication to the Archdiocese as Principal 2012 - 2015 and Acting Principal from 2010 - 2012. Previously Gerard had been Acting Principal of St Monica’s Primary School in evatt, and on numerous occasions Acting Principal of St Clare of Assisi in Conder."
Gerard also has extensive classroom experience in the archdiocese.
Ms Najdecki said "On behalf of our Archdiocesan schools and the Catholic education Office I express our sincere and grateful thanks to Gerard for his lasting contribution to the life, progress and future of the Catholic education in our Archdiocese and for his dedicated leadership in advancing the mission of our schools.”
