Despite being undefeated in their Palerang weekend competition, the Palerang Under 12s didn’t lose heart at the Kanga Cup, even against incredible talented soccer teams from around NSW and ACT. Kanga Cup involves 378 teams and over 4000 kids playing soccer all over Canberra for the first week of the holidays.
The weather was incredibly cold and the fields were muddy but they played with great sportsmanship and humour. Some of the matches had to be called off due to the conditions.
The team learned a lot of skills and they are already looking forward to next year.
It was a big commitment from the Braidwood families who had 5 days straight of early mornings in Canberra, Thanks go to the managers Jackie Clark and Janine Hindmarsh for their commitment to junior soccer.
