Sam Daniher of Manar has just spent the week at the Australian Schoolboy AFL Championships at Maroochydore.

Sam started his sporting career at the Braidwood Soccer Club, then learnt to tackle playing for Braidwood Redbacks. Sam plays for St Edmund’s College in Canberra and was the only member of his team to be selected in the ACT U15’s side. The team was met with very solid competition playing S.A, Vic and NSW.
They finished the week long tournament winning an exciting game for the “Territory Trophy” against NT, with a winning goal scored on the siren.
The week was a great learning curve for Sam’s football skills, a wonderful weather ‘escape’ for his parents, and a fabulous experience all round!
