Recently at the Men’s Shed, Barry McDowell has helped out a few of the local Central School HSC students by demonstrating the use of our thicknesser. The lads were most appreciative and a fine piece of furniture appears to be just around the corner. Good luck to these young men in their upcoming exams. And well done Barry!
There’s a fair bit of envy around after Jim Sturgiss produced an outstanding coffee table, (he’d like to thank Rob for his expert guidance). A shame it’s not for sale but it will be a fine addition to the Sturgiss household.
Gordon and Ari started a spring clean in our kitchen/dining room which is most appreciated. Someone has to do the hard work!
The men headed out to David O’Connell’s on Friday 19th to collect the last of the potato crop. Once again the potatoes will be on sale at the markets on the 27th.
This time we will also offer home delivery, in town, at $15 per box (no smaller orders). If you’d like to take advantage of this service then you can leave your details with Kevin on 0450961039. We will be delivering this way on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th.
