Artists and art supporters gathered outside Altenburg Art Studio on Saturday to oppose the closure of Callan Park campus in Sydney, a part of the Sydney College of the Arts. ‘Stur’ art gallery owner Kellie Sturgess is a graduate of the SCA and says closing important institutions like the college could undermine the future of art, artists and art education in Australia.
