He was bitten on a property South East of Bungendore on Sunday, October 16, as he headed home with his father and older brother.
His father administered first aid, and drove him to meet an ambulance. Alfred was discharged from hospital just five days later and returned to school on Thursday, November 3.
His father urged people to “make sure they have an appropriate first aid kit in their car and know how to use it.”
