A proposal by EPYC Pty Ltd to construct the Jupiter wind farm near Tarago is now open for community consultation.

The large-scale proposal seeks to construct and operate up to 88 turbines to a maximum tip height of 173 metres.
Its infrastructure will include a substation, an operations and maintenance building, access roads, both overhead and underground transmission lines, concrete batching plants and temporary construction compounds.
The site is 18 kilometres east of Bungendore.
The Department of Planning and Environment will host the information session at the Tarago Community Hall on Wednesday, December 7 between 6pm and 8pm.
