Golfers had a wonderful presentation night on Saturday night. Two club stalwarts cleaned up the trophies – congratulations to Michael Toirkens and Virginia Groot Obbink our Club Champions! Steve Cansell and Judy Scott also warrant a mention, each left with quite a bag. Some of the many other winners on the night were Michael Tillman-Ryan, Phil O'Toole, Barb Stuart, Helen Goddard and Robin Tennant-Wood, we would like to congratulate you all for fine play.
Thanks to those who volunteered to make the night possible. Thank you to Judy and Gordon Scott, and Kathy Toirkens who set up the room; Kathy also kindly lent us her photographic expertise. Thanks to Fran McGrath, who donated the flower bowls, Barb Stuart who decorated them so beautifully, and Judy and Michelle Henry provided delicious after dinner treats. Finally, thank you to our two club captains who handled the prize presentation with aplomb.
