QPRC are planning more family-friendly pre-Christmas events for this year, and it’s our turn in Braidwood this coming Friday night (November 30) with a Community Christmas Party from 6pm to 8.30pm.
The venue will be Ryrie Park, and all the entertainment and activities that QPRC have organised for everyone are going to be free.
Many local community organisations and businesses will be part of this party too, providing entertainment and food options aplenty.
Stallholder offerings will include locally-produced food and wine, along with a huge variety of culinary delights for you to enjoy.
“Food vendors include The Good Life Food, Deer Head Catering, Nersons, Sullys Cider, Braidwood Estate Wines and Corong Estate Wines, plus local favourite Braidwood Lions,” says QPRC’s community events project officer Laura Shelley.
There will also be a number of school performances on show. Participants in 2018 come from St Bede’s, Braidwood Central School, Braidwood Dance Studio and Home School for Life.
There will also be plenty of other fun stuff to do, for adults and non-adults alike.
“This year we asked the community to be even more involved and as a result we have a musical program fuller than a stocking on Christmas morning” enthused Ms Shelley, and it includes traditional carols.
There will be rides for the kids plus Santa might also make a visit; if everyone has been really good this year.
