Peter Smith Distant cousins met for the first time in Braidwood on the week-end (14th-15th March). They came from Pennant Hills, Warners Bay, Newcastle New South Wales, Rockhampton Queensland, Margaret River Western Australia, Mount Eliza Victoria and Molesworth Tasmania. Also in the photograph is Paul Hart, a Braidwood local.
The celebrity golf day and night held last weekend as a fundraiser for the Golf Club and the Services Club was a sensational success for all involved. With celebrity golfer Wayne Grady attending with the ‘Pros’ Pro’ Greg Hohnen, the course was in excellent condition, the weather was fine and all agreed it was a great weekend. PHOTO GALLERY HERE
Alex Rea A development application from the Two Fires Festival Committee for the erection of a stone monument in Ryrie Park has been passed by Council. The monument is proposed to consist of a rough-hewn piece of stone approximately 3 m long and 1.25 m high inscribed by a local artist Ian Maher with the following statement:
