The team exhibited four steers and five Texel sheep. The steers arrived at show on Monday last week and sheep on Wednesday and BCS competed in classes every day until Saturday midday.
The team arrived back in Braidwood at 11pm on Saturday evening, tired and happy but everyone agreed they had all had a ball
Highlights of the Show visit were; in Monkittee Texels the Reserve Champion went to the "Peter Taylor group"; Dan Hart gained a 2nd in sheep handling; 5th in hoof section for Purebred School steer; Inga Neilsen gained a highly commended in cattle parading and on Monday the Team was awarded a Bronze Medal for the Purebred Steer Carcase.
BCS Ag teacher Mick Wall said “overall it was a massively successful showing for such a small school” and he praised the students for their commitment.
