Rocky crags uncovered during the dynamite excavation feature throughout the colossal 990-square-metre interior.

Built for the sophisticated troglodyte, the residence includes six bathrooms, a cinema room, gymnasium, office, sauna, swimming pool and, remarkably, a weather station.

Not surprisingly, the property boasts several grottoes and flagstone floors. Panoramic views of Snow Canyon State Park are a bonus.

Sotheby's International Realty is offering the property for $US6.25 million ($7.1 million).
