A NSW registered B-Double freight truck has come unstuck on the Araluen Road 8km east of Araluen township. The accident occurred around 3.30am Tuesday. The driver was not hurt in the accident.

A tow truck was in attendance by morning however the road is expected to stay closed for 24 hours while a crane in brought in to lift the trailer back onto the roadway.
According to bystanders the truck was carrying shopping trolleys for a new shopping development in Batemans Bay. The driver had asked directions in Braidwood and been pointed in the direction of Araluen.
A sign just out of Braidwood warns motorists that the road is not suitable for caravans, buses or large trucks.
Further towards Araluen on another sharp bend there were fresh tyre marks in the verge running across the bend. SEE PHOTO GALLERY
