Thanks to everyone for their contributions of plants, white elephant goods, cakes, not to mention the puppies and the rooster. As usual, many people left with more plants and other goodies than they had donated. While numbers were about the same as in previous years, the sausage sizzle stand was particularly popular.
The lucky raffle winners were: the hamper, Julie Brown; the plant (kindly donated again by Claire at the Bunyip Jungle), Bill Chalmers; the veggies, William Verdon; the quilts, Celia Roach (yay!); the rocking elephant and dress up outfit, Nola Clarke; and the dinner set, Trish McPherson.
We had visitors from out of town for the Open Gardens, but the bulk of that stunning sum came from our community. Huge thanks to all who participated.
The money raised will go to support the Braidwood Multi Purpose Health Service, which has stood since 1858.
