Braidwood has won its first golf pennant since 2012. A fantastic result last Thursday at Gold Creek with a dominant 6-1 win over Murrumbidgee. The results included a few easy wins and some much closer matches that even went as far as 21 holes to determine a winner.

Both the perpetual trophy and permanent shield are on their way back to the Braidwood club.
While that was happening, Bec Bloomfield defeated Donna Kuhn on countback for the Third Division winner's prize at the Belconnen Ladies Open Day.
Friday's ‘Nine and Dine’ was a nice result for the Club. Almost $500 was raised, and the couple of dozen attendees enjoyed themselves. Thanks to all those who helped out.
Around 40 people attended the Ladies Brindabella Shield Pennands on Saturday in Braidwood. It was a fine result for the Braidwood women, with a 4/1 win over Queanbeyan. Lorinda Stuart, Virginia Goot Obbink, Marguerite Gardener all acquitted themselves well, with winds in the competition. Next week the women’s team travels to Queanbeyan to play Federal in the final round.
