Thanks to all the volunteer parents who continue to assist the club and make it a positive experience for our young players. There were many wide smiles this week, which is great to see.
Keep practicing those new soccer skills over the holidays. See you all back for the second half of the season in a few weeks.

What a way to wrap up the soccer term before school holidays with another win 6-1 to Belwest Canberra on home turf this Saturday.
We started strong straight out of the blocks getting a few quick runs on the board and that’s all it took to keep the confidence buzzing through our crew.
The forwards were delightful to watch constantly looking for the gaps and passing accuracy has been improving every weekend. Our mids and back lines were a tower of strength in constant pursuit of the Belwest forwards to keep them out of our net. Bonnie, laynee, Noah, Josh and Skye showed what it takes to keep the others sides run count down with great kick outs and moving it forward to our mids, Hunter and Brodie who displayed excellency in their positions.
We missed Angus on our right wing this week, however our stand in man Fergus tooth took it to it like a duck to water, he proved himself worthy of any position this week (great goal Fergus) well done.
Isabella, Leroy, Nelson and Fergus clicked together like well oiled pin ball machine this week with some really classy soccer this weekend, some outstanding goals were scored on Saturday and one in particular was an outstanding corner kick from Nelson Seargant to Leroy Campbel Davies forehead into the net, it truly was outstanding skill.
Hugh Lions again was outstanding again creating that seal of protection and support for our back line.
Although we didn’t allow Belwest to penetrate our defence many times I have to admit this team came fighting back in the second half and a well earned goal in the bag boosted them and kept them fighting to the bitter end.
Well done guys and have great break, we have some tough games next term so please practice when you can.
Goal scorers Leroy Campbel Davies 2, Nelson Seargant 2, Isabella Hindmarsh 1 and Fergus Tooth 1.
