Greiner, AO is the one-time first lady of state politics when her former husband Nick Greiner was NSW premier from 1988 to 1992.
However, the couple's split in 2013 prompted them to sell their Centennial Park mansion for $6.25 million the following year.
Greiner has been rumoured to be house hunting a decent downsizer in the years since.
Her new digs is a whole-floor spread with three bedrooms and 213 square metres of wraparound terrace.
It was owned by LHC Capital co-founder Marcus Hughes, who bought it three years ago for $2.9 million.
Nick Greiner, meanwhile, has moved to Point Piper where he and his partner Carolyn Fletcher bought an apartment for $5.5 million in 2014.

Olympic rower on the move
Olympic sprinter Matt Shirvington has no sooner settled on his $7 million house purchase in Mosman than two-time Olympic rower Alison Fallon (nee Davies) and her publican husband Tim Fallon have listed.
The Fallons bought their Federation home on Dalton Road in 2010 for $1.8 million and commissioned a redesign by architect Peter Israel. Expect to pay between $4.5 million and $5 million at the September 9 auction through Scott Thornton, of Simeon Manners.

Tim Fallon and his brothers Matt and Luke are insatiable home flippers, as regularly catalogued by Title Deeds, and in recent years have turned to the pub game, buying Mosman's Buena Vista Hotel for $13,235,000 in 2015 and undertaking a major renovation before it was relaunched last year as The Buena.
Waterfront sets Oatley high
The Oatley suburb record has been reset at $4.72 million thanks to the waterfront purchase by Right2Drive boss Damian Mullins and Michelle Allen.
The deal - negotiated by Laing+Simmons St George's Angela Avgerinos - was being touted locally because it tops the previous high of $4,225,000, set two years ago by local chemists the Boian family.

The 1700 square metre property with a private jetty and boatshed was previously home to Kyle Strode and David Andrews, who owns the Raw Talent job search and career advice firm.
It was a downsize of sorts for Andrews and Strode, who have moved onto their recently purchased $4 million apartment in the Stamford Residences at The Rocks.
Keeping it in Bellevue Hill
Geordie Manolas, of the Plaman private equity group, and his wife, Debbie, have a $5 million-plus price guide on their Bellevue Hill home ahead of their upcoming move to an $11 million purchase on nearby Streatfield Road.
The Manolas family did a quiet double-digit deal to secure the home of Haven Licensing founder and managing director, Thomas Punch (son of the late MP Leon Punch), and wife, Sarah.

Word of the Manolas buy has been a guarded secret, according to sources, and is now followed by the listing of their current home with Gavin Rubinstein, of Ray White Double Bay, and an August 31 auction.
The five-bedroom home with a swimming pool last traded in 2010 for $3.8 million, and has had a decent renovation in the seven years since.
$10 million buy for 20-something

The bullish purchase price is almost double the $5.25 million the same apartment sold for in 2014 when off-loaded by horse-breeder Frank Tagg and his wife Sally. Records show it was only listed a week through McGrath's Craig Donohue this time around.

Extra project for developer
Property developer Peter Zhu might be busy transforming the Gosford skyline thanks to his $157 million Mariners Plaza two-tower complex, but that's not his only project on the go.
The LB Group head has also bought a $5.5 million property in Bellevue Hill with DA already in place for a four-level house.
The Bundarra Road property comes with a tennis court and a good-sized mansion spread over some 1000 square metres internally.
Records show the sale through Raine & Horne Double Bay's Patrick Cosgrove was on behalf of Gillian Stals, wife of former lawyer Andrew Stals, founder of corporate advisory Minerva Capital Partners.
