Despite the forecast storms swirling all around the township the bowlers enjoying the games and the social interaction, except for our electricity workers who were summoned away to attend to nearby power outages.

The ten teams of four rolled up for the sausages and drinks and a frivolity filled night on the green.

Some interesting contests played out during the night.

Three teams won their first games for this season, having fine-tuned their skills from Week One. A special mention goes to the ‘Curly Rollers’ who defeated ‘The Clan’ six ends to four, after losing their first game by a spectacular ten ends to nil!

The ‘Bigg Team’, ‘Chicks with Attitude’ and the ‘Terminators’ all remain undefeated at this stage of the competition. Only the number of ends separating them on the hotly fought ladder.

‘Landmark’ and ‘Vak Vets’ are tied in fourth place closely followed by ‘The Other Guys’.

However, with two rounds to go any team could still win the competition, not to mention the lucky team $200 draws each week.

‘The Clan’ were the lucky winners of the $200 draw for the night, but don’t forget there are still more draws to be held over the next two Friday nights in addition to the overall winning team prize of $200 at the conclusion of week four.
