QPRC staff made the decisions that the parties scheduled for Friday and Saturday night, due to forecasts of heavy rain.
Currently 3-8mm of rain is forecast for Friday, with a possible storm.
15-30mm is forecast for Saturday, with chance of a storm.
The Queanbeyan Christmas party will go ahead on Saturday December 9. Events staff are organising for buses to travel from Braidwood to the Queanbeyan party.
