Marilla Lowrey was that person and she needs an individual big thank you for her work in the heat. The street looked so well dressed. Small quilts were specifically sourced by Marilla assisted by Robyn Johnson to fit within the small spaces available.
THE QUILT RAFFLE: A bus load of bowlers were bought to Braidwood during the Quilt Event and the wives, while the men bowled, wandered down to the main street to take in the quilts.
Vicki Fowler bought a raffle ticket on her way out of the National Theatre late on Sunday afternoon and by the time she had walked back to the Services Club the raffle had been drawn and she was the lucky winner.
