David O’Connell has kindly donated a good quantity of spuds and turnips from this year’s crop to the local men’s shed. We had an intensive working Bee last Thursday week to pick the produce then spent last Friday sorting, grading and bagging.

Market day last Saturday saw the men sell three quarters of our stock. We hope to sell the remainder at the Daffodil Fair this weekend or if you prefer slip up to the shed on Friday from 10 am so you don't miss out.
Other projects include the refurbishment of the umpires’ chairs for the tennis club, with the final touches being completed this Friday. Well done from the small team of volunteers who addressed this job.
We are also currently ordering timber to build a set of chairs and table for the Bendigo Bank.
On the 5th September a dozen of us will be attending the Canberra wood show. We would like to thank Highgate computers for completely refurbishing a computer for our use.
