A couple of popular works of the 1960s heads this recital: "A Whiter Shade of Pale" is the debut single by the English rock band Procol Harum and "The House of the Rising Sun" is a traditional folk song, sometimes called "Rising Sun Blues".

This will be followed by music from the Netherlands, Germany and France, spanning some 450 years in composition. It will finish with the popular Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by JS Bach.
