This week, while Australian towns and cities are saturated with memories of loss from 100 years ago, two businesses in Braidwood have joining the effort to fund raise for Mates4Mates - an organisation that provides physical and psychological rehabilitation for current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members who are wounded, injured or ill, and support for their families.

So far this April, The Albion Café has raised over $2000 with $5 from each special meal donated, as well as all the staff tips for the month.
The Braidwood Community Bank has also announced it will donate $10 to Mates4Mates for every new deposit or transaction account opened in April.
The CEO of Mates4Mates John Oates was in Braidwood on Monday morning to thank the businesses for their support.
