Around 650 attended the centenary of Anzac Day Dawn Service in Braidwood. The Braidwood Cantors were there to lead in the hymns. Steven Hockey read a poem and SC John Jones and Pastor Don Hobbs lead prayers. Dick Varley gave the address. An ADFA Bugler played the last post.

Marches had also been well attended at Majors Creek and Araluen in the morning. .
Around 2200 people attended the Anzac Day march and commemoration in Ryrie Park. The march was led by three light horsemen, Craig Sheridan, Neale Lavis and Andrew Mortimer, followed by Kapyong Company from RMC Duntroon.
In special memory of the 88 Braidwood soldiers who did not return home from the First World War, 88 Braidwood students marched in their honour, carrying a special book of their lives, a placed an Australian flag along the side of Ryrie Park in a touching ceremony.
The Anzac Day address was given by Flt Sgt Luke Walker from HQJOC in Bungendore, and Brother Brian Berg said the prayer. Students Inge Nielsen and Claire Pettit also read.
The Services Club was packed for the luncheon and Two Up following the ceremony, and Dr Peter Hendy officially launched the commemorative booklets, as rain and hail pelted down outside turning the greens white.
