This weekend the NSW Mounted Games Association is holding their State Individual Titles in a 2 day competition at the Showground. 

Saturday will be a series of heats in age groups ranging from Under 12s all the way up to Veterans. Sunday will be another round of heats before the finals, which will be starting late morning. Riders from the Hunter Valley, the Riverina, Sydney and Canberra districts as well as Braidwood will be competing.

Mounted games is a branch of equestrian sport featuring fast races requiring participants to have excellent riding skills, hand-eye coordination, a high degree of athletic ability and above all a strong bond and trust in their horse.

Mounted games are an exciting spectacle, with close fast racing and high levels of horsemanship on display. This is a great opportunity to see another form of equine sport in our town and spectators are most welcome.
