Are Braidwood, Major's Creek and Dargues on the Eastern side of the Great Divide, where or creeks and rivers flow down to the coast? Or are we on the Western side, where rivers flow inland?
Unity's submission to the Federal Department of Environment (page 6) states that we are on WESTERN slope of the Great Divide.
Unity also doesn't appear to have informed Palerang Shire council, the CCC nor the community about its Application to the Federal Department of Environment change their Conditions of Approval under EPBC legislation to allow Unity to process ore on site using cyanide.
This is a different Application from the State application they have been talking about.
Couldn't Unity have mentioned this in 'their weekly advertisement column'?
If anyone wants to comment, submissions close this Friday, September 4. http://www.environment.gov.au/cgi-bin/epbc/epbc_ap.pl?name=referral_detail&proposal_id=7539
