A couple of weeks ago eight of the ten were able to get together for a reunion over a lively and sometimes rowdy dinner. The first of these two photos show the bright eyed youngsters approaching their prime and the second shows them in their prime! Some of the education must have hit the mark – the group have produced 28 children and to date 33 grandkids.
Those able to attend the night were Rex Sutherland, Bob Daniel, Laurie Ffrench, Mary Hawkins (Hart), Colleen Winberg (McAuliffe), Brenda Jeffery (Bourke), Judy Barker (Ffrench), Catherine Abell (Whipp). Unfortunately, Geoff Webb and Elaine Collins were unable to make the night.
Apparently there is a competition being organised with two prizes for the first two readers to correctly match the faces in the two photos. First prize will be one copy of the audio tape of the memory lane chatter on the night, second prize will be two copies of the tape!
