The Member for Monaro John Barilaro announced the $20,000 grant recently and said the project will serve as a more environmentally friendly energy option and ensure the viability of the club for years to come.
“The Braidwood Services Club is a place of great importance in our community,” Mr Barilaro said. “The new solar panels will be used to provide independent power to the clubhouse in a move to help reduce the club’s energy bills.
“The Braidwood community has always been forward thinking and savvy with its plans for further improving infrastructure.
“I am pleased that the NSW Government has decided to support such an important community organisation.”
